ServicesOn-Farm GrantsProfessional Advice and Planning GrantsHave you considered applying for a grant, or could a grant help one of your neighbours? It may be possible for you to obtain a grant to put towards making use of our services. Typically grants are available to approved applicants (EC declared areas) and can be used for professional advice relating to production, agronomy, natural resource management, business and risk management. Professional Advice and Planning grants, currently managed by Centrelink, are available to a value of $5,500 (GST inclusive) and additional grants of up to $2,200 (GST inclusive) may be available to re-evaluate plans after 6 months. Funds may be used for more than one purpose and/or advisor. This program has been extended to 30/6/2010 for EC declared areas. If you have unused vouchers on hand, please call Centrelink to check their validity. Generally they must be used within 6 months of issue and within 12 months from the expiry date of your EC declaration on 30/6/11, whichever date is first. Other grants become available from time to time, for example the Planning for Recovery grants in South Australia, which may provide benefits of up to $14,000 to approved applicants. This program is currently providing previous recipients with vouchers for use by 30/9/2010 . Are you interested in on-farm research? From time to time, projects are undertaken to research specific on-farm issues across a range of topics. If you are interested in participating in projects, or if you have a problem needing a solution, please call and let us know. |
