Productive Nutrition

About Us

Our Company

Productive Nutrition Pty Ltd's core business is livestock nutrition. Because we specialise, we have a comprehensive knowledge of ruminants, their requirements and management which we apply practically. Our mission is to lift profitability, productivity and performance of ruminant livestock that are not meeting their genetic potential.

We provide unbiased and independent service.

What we do

We provide on-farm consulting to cattle and sheep farming operations, including the specialised area of feedlot operations. We also consult to agri-business and government and have completed research projects in pastoral nutrition as well as feasibility studies and reviews for the agriculture sector and  lamb feedlotting operations.

Workshops which are tailored to meet individual or group requirements are delivered on request. We have presented on nutrition, rumen function, feedlotting and production with our skills extending to disease identification and prevention for conditions including dystocia, grass staggers, scouring, acidosis. The timing of workshops is co-ordinated to fit the calendar of events and needs of the group or property concerned.

Our staff are versatile and rise to many challenges. A review of our projects will illustrate our work in the livestock industry but we have also completed tasks as diverse as logo development, flock book compilation for stud operations and spreadsheet design.

We consult Australia wide on-site as well as via phone, fax and email, providing a range of services including ration formulation, gross margin budgets for feedlot operations, complementary and mineral nutrition.
